About us 

SlackMaGirdle is a Border Morris Side which was formed in 2016. It is named after an ancient variety of cider apple -  "Slack Ma Girdle".  SlackMaGirdle Border Morris is a collaborative side - we do have a Squire and a Bagperson, but everyone in the side has an equal say in what we dance, what we play and how we organise things. Our intention is to have fun, to play good music, dance well and above all to entertain those that watch us, 

Practice nights 

We practice every Tuesday night throughout the year from 8-10pm (unless we are dancing out) at the Exning Road W M Club, Exning Road, Newmarket. CB8 0AB.
